What Shares Owns
Shares owns product behavior, ownership balances, restrictions, pledge and exit state, dividend eligibility, certificate records, and shareholder governance evidence.
Other Pinkapple domains still own their own work:
- Loans own loan applications, approvals, disbursement, repayment, and recovery.
- Parties own holder identity, KYC, contact details, membership status, and eligibility data.
- Pricing owns fees, valuation, and rate logic where a share product uses pricing.
- Tax setup owns approved share-domain taxes such as dividend withholding.
- Accounting owns finance rules, approvals, and journal posting.
- Payments, cash, bank, wallet, and deposit workflows own funding and payout execution.
Product-Driven Behavior
Share products are behavior-driven. The product setup determines whether users can transfer, pledge, withdraw, redeem, issue certificates, participate in dividends, vote, or use shares for lending security.
Users should not assume behavior from a product name alone. Review the product setup, behavior preview, approval requirements, and accounting readiness before processing live share activity.
Share Accounts
A share account represents a holder's ownership position under one share product.
Important balances include total units, paid-up units, available units, pledged units, locked units, and dividend-eligible units. Available units are the most important balance for transfers, withdrawals, pledges, and redemptions.
Share Transactions
Common transaction families include purchase, allotment, contribution, transfer, buyback, exit refund, capital-call payment, dividend reinvestment, redemption, adjustment, and reversal where policy allows it.
Transactions that affect ownership or finance should be approved and reviewed before users rely on the updated balance.
Dividends
Shares owns dividend declaration, allocation review, approval, payment or reinvestment follow-up, and audit history.
Distribution methods depend on the product. Some products use share-only participation, while others can combine share participation with qualifying deposit balances.
If the product uses taxation, confirm the approved share tax setup before declaring or approving a dividend.
Share-Backed Lending
When a shareholder wants a loan, the loan request still runs through Loans. Shares provides available pledgeable units, pledged-unit status, blocked-exit state, multiplier policy, and collateral restrictions.
Shares does not own the loan lifecycle.
Funding And Payout Routing
Shares uses existing payment and settlement workflows rather than creating a separate cash engine.
Share purchase funding can come from configured collection channels. Dividend payout can go to cash, bank, wallet, deposit transfer, or reinvestment based on product and account settings. Reinvestment creates a share ownership movement and should still follow approval and accounting controls.
