Fiscal Calendar
The Fiscal Calendar page lets you define fiscal year calendars that determine the accounting periods for your organisation.

What Is a Fiscal Calendar?
A fiscal calendar defines the start and end dates of your organisation's financial year. It is the foundation for generating fiscal periods (months or quarters) and controlling when transactions can be posted.
Fiscal Calendar Table

| Calendar Name | Descriptive name (e.g., "FY 2025") |
| Start Date | First day of the fiscal year |
| End Date | Last day of the fiscal year |
| Business Unit | The BU this calendar applies to |
| Period Count | Number of fiscal periods generated |
| Status | Active, closed, or draft |
Creating a Fiscal Calendar
- Click Create Fiscal Calendar
- Fill in the form:

Most organisations use a January–December or July–June fiscal year. PinkApple supports any start/end date combination.
After Creating a Calendar
Once a fiscal calendar is created, you need to generate fiscal periods for it. See Fiscal Periods.
Multiple Calendars
You can have multiple fiscal calendars for different business units. This supports organisations where different branches or subsidiaries operate on different fiscal years.
