Denominations
The Denominations page lets you define the physical denominations (notes and coins) for each active currency.
Navigation: Administration → Financial Setup → Denominations
What Are Denominations?
Denominations represent the physical notes and coins of a currency. They are used for:
- Till balancing — Counting cash in tills by denomination
- Cash transactions — Recording which notes/coins were received or dispensed
- Cash position reporting — Tracking the denomination breakdown of cash holdings
Creating a Denomination
- Click Create Denomination
- Fill in the form:

| Value | The face value (e.g., 1000, 500, 50) | Yes |
| Type | Note or Coin | Yes |
| Description | Optional description | No |
- Submit the form
