Denominations

The Denominations page lets you define the physical denominations (notes and coins) for each active currency.

Navigation: Administration → Financial Setup → Denominations

What Are Denominations?

Denominations represent the physical notes and coins of a currency. They are used for:

  • Till balancing — Counting cash in tills by denomination
  • Cash transactions — Recording which notes/coins were received or dispensed
  • Cash position reporting — Tracking the denomination breakdown of cash holdings

Creating a Denomination

  1. Click Create Denomination
  2. Fill in the form:
