The Documents page manages document storage, generation, and distribution across the platform.

Document Management

PinkApple provides a centralised document repository where you can:

  • Upload documents — Store files against specific records (clients, loans, accounts)
  • Generate documents — Create documents from templates populated with live data
  • Track versions — Maintain version history for updated documents
  • Control access — Documents respect the permission and business unit scoping system

Document List

EntityThe record this document is attached to (client, loan, account)

Created ByThe user who uploaded or generated the document

Uploading Documents

  1. Navigate to Communication → Documents or open a specific record (client, loan, etc.)
  2. Click Upload Document
  3. Select the file from your computer
  4. Add metadata:

  1. Submit

Generating Documents from Templates

  1. Open a record (e.g., a loan account)
  2. Click Generate Document
  3. Select a template
  4. The system populates the template with the record's data
  5. Review the generated document
  6. Save or download

Supported File Types

PinkApple supports common file formats:

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, TXT
  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP
  • Others: CSV, ZIP
